ceminess
My grandparents have a phillips Tivo DVR DSR708 and I know that they want more space for it, So I was thinking of upgrading it for them as a chrismas gift. I know that the space is simply a hard drive in there but the problem is I don't know what kind, or what is the largest size that I can add. I found tivo upgrade kits online but they seemed kind of expensive i.e. for an 80 gig drive upgrade kit, it was $120, I could buy a 250gig drive from WD, for $109. but I don't know if it is that easy to simply buy a new hard drive and install it. So can anyone help me out here, its for a good cause :D.
