kizzaaa
Google or Windows Live! What do you prefer? Personally, I like Google - I've always used it, it's simple and I usually get good results. What about u?
spyder2k
It's really disgusting that Live.com redirects through MSN. Live also seems to have some problems with my 'Back' button, both in IE and FF
TaiCrunch
Windows Live takes too long to load as opposed to Google. So Google it is!

TheWahbinator
Google as a search engine (duh), but I haven't made a decision between live.com and google.com/ig 's interfaces.
obsolete_power
Google all the way, everything else is just a toy. Windows Live basically searches in MSN. I used google a few days ago for my astronomy assignment since I couldn't find my calculator. This is the whole statement which google calculated perfectly: (2 * (6.67 * 10^-11) * (6.0 * 10^24) * (6400000) * (1.98892 * 10^30)) / (1.49668992 * 10^11)^3. The answer google gave me is 3.03884723 ? 10^18. I tried the same in Windows Live and it gave me some error and a bunch of useless bull that has Microsoft written all over them. Nothing is better than Google!

obsolete_power
Google as a search engine (duh), but I haven't made a decision between live.com and google.com/ig 's interfaces. I like the simplicity of Google's UI and yet it is very complete - all you'd ever want!

seebaran
I don't see Live.com becoming a useful page, much like how the current My MSN is not useful (or interesting). The thing is -- it's ugly. No matter how useful something can be, if it doesn't have a "pretty" look, people wouldn't buy. That's the truth. To the geek, things like Live.com may seem wonderful, but something that utilizes RSS for content is hardly revolutionary. Google's not meant to be a portal, so I really can't compare it. If has a portal-like option like MSN and AOL, but even that I wouldn't get in the habit of visiting a page I constructed myself. Microsoft is better off making a scaled down version of MSN.com and leaving it as that. RSS is no big deal.
