Best P2P Program Please

Question

G'day Guys

Im just wondering whats the best P2P client that doesnt distribute my details etc like the many many reports indicate KaaZa does

I havent had to use a P2P in many many months, the last one I used was WinMX and I heard it does dodgey stuff too, is that correct?

Basically I just want to or am looking for a song in no uncertain terms, one which I cannot find on IRC so I must search the greater resource; the P2P programs.

So if anyone could offer me some tips or simply which one is good/huge in users and doesnt dodge me with my data id really like to hear it.

Thanks in Advance.

I know of a few startup p2p networks but doubt you will find the one song you are looking for, if you cant find it on irc. The Cube being the best of these. you might be able to find what you are looking for over at Zeropaid. I personally use different clients for different resources. Winmx for music.

I know I didnt answer your question spefically, but I hope it helps.

I use WinMX and Kazaa Lite, no problems with them transmitting bad info at all. However it should be pointed out that simple ip tracking data goes out with every packet you send in and out of your modem, so at the very least if they really wanted to they could get your ip or trace you to your isp and find out your ID from there. then again so can a dozen scripts for a web page I can think of.

http://gemal.dk/browserspy/

can show you just some of the stuff your system puts out there, especially IE and most of these p2p programs use atleast some or most of IE's code.

I'm also thinking about starting a drinking game, whenever I see Osiris on a threat i'm posting on, I drink up :)

Also i just remembered a linux p2p app, a new one based on gnutnella network. Suppsed to be very descreet and stuff if that's what you need. But I still think WinMX has the largest network.
