P.M.K
I normally say 'Have a great Xmas' By the way, how many weeks off do you get in America over Xmas?? In Australia this year most people finish work on Friday the 23rd and go back on Tuesday the 3rd of January. Not really a holiday. Students get longer ofcourse. wprigjoigj3i40jhgi0435ejh Veteran Posted December 20, 2005 Veteran Share Posted December 20, 2005 Merry Christmas here for me in the USA. Everyone has their right to say/believe what they want, this is mine. On a side note... I chose not to shop for ANY Christmas presents at my local Wal-Mart store. They forbid all employees to say "Merry Christmas" at the risk of losing their job. Boy, would I like to get fired from Wal-Mart (if I worked there) for saying "Merry Christmas" to someone. That would open up a BIG can of worms. P.S. Let's not forget the REAL reason we celebrate Christmas (those of us who celebrate it).

multimediatechy
Merry Christmas! From the UK....everybody is too PC these days - Christmas is a Christian festival and definitely should be called Merry Christmas...no-one should be worried about offending others as its the biggest christian festival so nothing wrong in saying Merry Christmas. BE proud its daft saying this is the "holiday season" or "winter festival"etc ...or even worse...major cities in the UK calling the light displays - "winter lights" (just incase anyone gets offended).
