Thats silly. Who says torrents are used only for pirating? For example Opera, DrDivX etc etc.. use them to reduce server load.

I agree, I should of probaly made a poll for illegal and legal P2Ping

No, I have a good-paying job. I don't need to steal.

Nice jab but I've purchased more software thanks to being able to try it out first. Shareware and game demos aren't always convincing.

I have a good job too. I have a job that supports me and my nicely heated apartment just fine. It doesn't mean I don't/won't download and share music, programs, movies, images, and documents. We all have different feelings about filesharing. Unlike some others I agree it's wrong. I am just a wrong and evil person though, because that's not stopping me from taking it from that download list.

It's kind of stupid of someone to admit to it, legal or not, seeing how this site is hosted on Stardock. Stardock has been known to monitor and report.

Is neowin really hosted on stardock.

And yes i do use it but only downloading legal stuff (3.1GB Version of Knoppix)

No, only in the same physical location. There was a big scandal about this, and I'm pretty sure that was the answer.

Yes.

Very useful to do the following.

To download TV shows that I miss on certain days.

To download newly released software and/or demos due to hammered servers. 3dGamers.com always has torrents for their files and that's kick ass.
