The only album that I can stand listening to is American Idiot by Green Day, they're my favorite band, they have the type of music that I've been searching for in a long time, American Idiot is a really different album, it all goes together from song 1 to 13, its a story.

Also I sometimes do listen to Cold Play's X&Y from the beginning to end, though not so often.

When I first buy/otherwise obtain an album I haven't heard yet I will listen to all of it a few times in order to learn which tracks are decent etc. Otherwise, I only listen to certain albums all the way through in one go ... usually Radiohead or Placebo.

^ I hate hidden songs on cd's... I listen to music on computer.

I usually listen to my own custom compilations or playlists - but some albums just have to be listened to start to finish, like Ayreon - Human Equation... now some people I hear saying "this cd's so good, its like a story" when the albums actually got a set of songs that have some kinda vague link... well please listen to Human Equation because oh my god its good...

Some albums are designed to be listened to from start to finish - some are designed to just be a collection of songs. I prefer the former.

What about Coheed & Cambria anyone? The CDs pretty much have to be played in chronological order, and in full albums to make any sense at all since the (now) 3 CDs tell a story, to be completed with their upcoming 4th CD.
