what software do you use to capture the desktop screen?

Print screen. I haven't found a descent freeware program that captures video and all the other stuff that can't be normally captured. So until then, just the print screen.

And if I want the cursor I use IrfanView to capture.

There is a key on your keyboard called Prrint Screen (PrintScrn)

press that, then open up MS Paint or Photoshop and paste it, then save and your ready to go.

I use acdsee 4..this new versiog got screen capture, active window capture..etc.

and its saves the screenshots in anyformat you want..I use jpg

direct on the desktop :cool:

mspaint isn't good cause it save JPGs compressed at about 60%,so file will look very bad... so you have to save it as BMP,then open some graphics editor,then save it as JPG in better quality.too much work :) i use acdsee screencapture.ok,sometimes mspaint :ponder:
