SuBHuMaNGuY
A few days ago I tried running 3D Mark to see what my score was. I got like a 3,500.. which i knew wasn't right because with my Athlon 1.2ghz i had gotten like at least 5,800. So Tonite i'm looking through my properites of my video card and notice that is says Bus Type: AGP (PCI Mode). I'm betting that this is the problem. Anybody know a remedy? I'm running an Athlon XP 1900+, 512 DDR Crucial RAM, Abit NV7-133R (Nforce chipset), and a Geforce 3 Ti 200. During the benchmarking tests, several of the tests are very slow.. such as when it's testing the pixel and vertex shaders. The last major thing i did to the system was update the BIOS. That BIOS update was very important because it fixed the problem that my CD-Writer couldn't go into DMA mode. Anyway, if anyone can think of a solution let me know. Thanks!!!! Joseph Zollo
Could it be possible that you're using the 3d-accelerator that's on your nforce chipset? If not, try these steps... 1. Uninstall the drivers, restart, then reinstall. 2. Take the card out, and put it back in. 3. Check your AGP Aperture in the bios, make sure its not set low. 4. Make sure AGP 4x w/fast writes is enabled. If none of the above work, jump out a window :p

Rivak
Get the latest VIA All In Ones. That gets AGP cards out of PCI mode.
