What I have is a one column document at 780px width centered and at 100% height (i set the body height to 100% to get this to inherit down to the document body when i set it to 100%)
now my problem as you can see is i have a bar at the top and bottom, the top one shows up fine, the bottom one though, does not because the 100% height of the document body (the white part) gets its height from the body element (which is 100%) what i want is it to be aligned with the bottom of the page so its showing on the screen all the time when the page does not extend past the window height, so the bar shows at top and bottom (were assumeing a 800x600 screen res here), anyone know what needs changed? you can get my CSS and XHTML from looking at the source for my site. thanks a lot!
