Need 3d mark advice

Recommended Posts

First off post the compare URL link in your project manager section as it will give the correct info it should look like this

http://service.madonion.com/compare?2k1=4078804

Post some system specs?

Have you turned off Vsync? as that will give you a small performance hit as you will not be tied to the refresh rate of your monitor.

Jungle Crazy 3d Mark Score, how did you get that kind of score? I cant even get over 9750 on my system, yet there are several ppl on this board and on driver forums who have systems below that of mine and are scoring 10,000+ in WinXP, makes no sense to me.

CyberDude - I had not done too much to my system tweaking wise as I had only just finished installing some new hardware & reinstalling XP when I did that Bench...

Specs are

Pentium 4 2.4b Northwood 533FSB

Gigabyte 8IHXP

512MB Samsung RDRAM

Geforce4 Ti4400

2x 40g Maxtor D740 ATA133 HDD's ( using RAID0 )

1x 40g Quantum ATA100 HDD

Pioneer 16x DVD-ROM

LiteON 24x10x40 CD-RW

Samsung 570B TFT Monitor

Enermax EG465AX PSU

Microsoft Internet Keyboard

Microsoft Intelimouse Optical

Cambridge Soundworks Speakers

plus all the other customary OS and software odds & sods.....

the only things I did was to up the FSB to 140 the GF4 to 300/600 using coolbits & run 3dmark straight after a fresh boot and with all system tray progs closed.
