Question

My NAV wont enable Auto-Protect? I went in to options and put a check in Enable Auto-Protect then went OK and got a Internet Explorer Script Error? Anybody have any clue whats going on?

Would this happen to be the 2003 beta?

I've had lots of problems with NAV. I still recommed it to people though, as it has auto update, but I personally use NAV CE, works PERFECTLY!!

this happends to me once in a while, restarting the pc usually fixes the problem, if restarting doesn't fix, i restart again, then it usually works. its a weird quirk, in 2003 i hiope they will fix that.

If its nav2002, it?s most likely corrupted from a restart or a blue screen error if you?re using xp, Uninstall it and reinstall and it should be fine.

WOW! thanks for all the replys, OK I will do a reinstall now, might it have something to do with the fact that I'm using SP1 1086? Never mind theres no way, it worked fine for a while then it broke. Thanks again everyone!

[edit] It's NAV2002

Well I did a reinstall everything went ok till I got a patch for NAV2002 then it went bad again, then it didn't even let IE load! I think I'm going to see what else is out there and get away from Norton for a while. It feels like a big waste of money (I have Internet Security 2002 Pro) $100 in all! Is the built in firewall in IE any good?
