Pc_Madness
Hopefully this is the right place to ask. :p At the moment we have Optus Cable TV (Australia), and we're getting abit bored of it so we were thinking of getting rid of it, but we use Cable to recieve the over the air channels as well, since theres no antenna socket in the room we have the big tv in atm, so I'm wondering if they'll disable the Cable completely, or if we'll still be able to use it to view the free-to-air channels? That make sense? :p

zivan56
Most likely the free-to-air channels are picked up at the cable HQ and it will get disabled. I suggest investing in a high quality UHF like these: http://www.lashen.com/vendors/winegard/images/hd-9085p.gif http://blogs.indiewire.com/steve.rosenbaum...enna-011027.jpg If the antenna is on your building then no.
