Yep. Windows 10 is guaranteed to still receive security updates until at least January 2032. It's inevitable that people will find ways to bypass the lockout on the ESU updates, and later those designed for the LTSC IoT edition. It happened with XP, 7 and 8 (not sure about Vista) and required nothing more from the end user than downloading a small program. After that Windows Update just functioned as if nothing ever changed. I'd be shocked if Microsoft's swiss cheese-esque update and authentication systems suddenly managed to keep people out, or indeed if Microsoft really invested any resources into trying. They haven't even bothered to stop people pirating Windows 10/11 via obtaining legit licenses from their own servers.
