It's been awhile since I've seen a poll of this kind. So I thought I'd post it.

Just check what you are currently using for your audio playback.

Feel free to include what ripping software, format, and bitrates you use as well.

I use:

On Mac:

VLC for flac

iTunes for everything else

On Windows:

Audiograbber for ripping

Foobar 2000 for playback

I use iTunes majority of the time.

iTunes. It's a bit of a ram hog, but I don't notice anymore cause I bought a new gig stick. Super easy to find any song I need and Smart Lists are a god send.

I tried going back to Winamp (grew up a diehard Winamp 2 user) a few days ago but missed Smart Lists and iPod support so dearly.

iTunes for two reasons.

1. I had a lot of gift certificates for iTMS.

2. The library feature. Being able to organize the library itself (not the tracks) into their respective folders (artists) and playlists (albums) is a definate big plus.
