Smoke Free Day 3 - Feeling better

Recommended Posts

Day 5, a beautiful morning, I'm at work early, and already catching up on work, which isn't fun exactly, but I just feel healthier, so it ain't so bad.

Last night, I did for a moment, want a cigarette, but it passed and I just went to bed.

It was kinda nice this morning, when my youngest crawled into bed with me, I didn't smell like smoke, and we got to sleep for another hour before we had to get up.

I have never smoked, and I always encourage my friends who smoke to stop doing so. Anyway, I'm not to tell them what they can or can't do... just friendly advice :p

I understand it's difficult to quit smoking.. so keep the good work??

Day 9 - Feeling Fine!

Give it two or more days and the sweats will start. You feel kind of dirty, your porse seem to be leaking a yellowy stubstance and you start to feel fat and depressed.

Stic with it mate, a weeks time you will feel better than you did the last coupe of days. You will start to feel miuch healthier. You will get thoughts like, 'i wonder what it would be like to have one now after all this time', or, 'well i proved i can give up so i can go back to it now and start smoking again', or, 'i can have one and it will be ok, just have one now and then when i REALY feel like it'.

Stick with it and dont listen to your mind saying its "ok" to have one. Also may i recommend going for a jog in a week or twos time :)

Governments should all encourage their electorate to smoke.

It's a great revenue raiser and it keeps the populations down.

I however don't agree with smoking in the workplace.

The more they try stopping people quit and still allow them for sale in shops, the more people will take it up and puff away like there is no tomorrow.

All I know, is this, I'm still not smoking!!! and freakin' proud of it.

had to unwind last night, so watched the new unrated Dumb and Dumber, laughed my ass off while taking down 6 beerz, and just because I was alone, I installed some old school gamez on my comp and played vid games for a couple of hours too, Starcraft for the win kiddiez.

"It's like you're running at an incredible rate Harry!"

Day 13 Kidz!

, Friday the 13th , unlucky my a$$.

you rawk dude! way to go. this march will mark 5 years since i've been a smoker. with a little motivation and encouragement you can kick the habit once and for all.

what you should do is calculate what you typically spend on a pack of cigarettes a week and then put that money aside. when you've reached a landmark goal - say, 3 or 6 months - take that money and buy something that you've been wanting for a long time but perhaps you may not have been able to afford it. you'll quickly see just how expensive smoking was.

funny thing is: i quit smoking because i could no longer afford to smoke; not because it was bad for me (true as it may be but it was not the deciding motivator).

good for you,

have you noticed anything different? taking more to get out of breath? being able to run longer etc??

Keep it up!

Yes, I can take nice deep full breaths, I love it!
