rickwhois
I have 512md of ocsystem ddr333 in my MSI-KT333. I just bought 256 of XtremeDDR 2700. And this Xtreme stuff no worky. Both are cas 2 latency. Has anyone had issues wth compatibilty with kt333? My system wont even post with the ram in it. no beeps either. I tested with Abit kg7 raid and it works fine. Just curious what i could do cause the ram is not faulty.
nWo4100
It's not the ram but the motherboard. MSI mobos have big problems with PC2700 Ram. It seem's that PC2100 works fine, but PC2700 makes everything stop. Get PC2100 Ram or better yet buy a mobo that is PC2700 compatible.

2xSilverKnight
try to get the same ram as you have at the momment. get ocsystems ddr333 ram ... and if you have via chipset try to update it with the lastest 4.41 driver.
Kusanagi
Do NOT mix different ram brands, you're asking for instability. By the way, have you tried ONLY the XtremeDDR one? The MSI KT3 mobo has to work with PC2700 ram, it uses the KT333 chipset and it was designed for it, so it is meant to work. Motherboard incompatibility with PC2700 is out of question. Oh, and use the 5.3 bios. I've found it to be more stable than the 5.5 one. ;)
rickwhois
i tried earlier bios before i flashed it, no luck. anyways, i definately should stick with one brand. I did try it with just the Xtreme, but nothing. So I m gonna try ti sell it to someone. I ll just reorder some more. thanks for the replies
