I wouldn't have a problem with 2 pages (but no more than that). I would use two pieces of paper rather than one double-sided page. It would be pretty hard for anyone over 30 to keep it to one single-sided page.

I don't have a formal resume but I think it should be kept short and sweet to keep the interviewer interested. If it gets longer, condense it down by getting rid of the not so impressive stuff, leaving the best.

Two pages, one side is the way to go, Three pages including the presentation letter written to the employer, if any..

Something very important in resumes/C.V's is to have a clear professional design. The person reading the resume has to be able to find something very quickly.

It is considered unprofessional of your resume is more then one page (unless the first page is a cover letter, then that is fine). I took a class over this back in college. A lot of places won't even look at your resume if it is more then one page.

My resume is one page, I only list a couple of my major jobs and all of my schooling, ya know the basics, then on the bottom I put References avaliable upon request

to save room that way the resume looks professional and stays one page.

Size doesn't matter for a resume, really.

It is impossible for me to keep it one page since I work in computers. I can't even list all my pertinent employers on one page due to some filing Chapter 11! It has never been a problem finding a job, either. Granted I have TONS of experience now... If you're not long out of school than concise is best.

My resume is 3 single-sided pages + cover letter.

I like to keep it under 2 pages, I dont think it is unporfessional at all, Infact I would never be able to fit the info I need on 1 single sheet of A4, too much cramming will look bad. 1 Page if you can but theres nothing wrong with two.

i always believe that people don't want to deal with more than one page. if it's not simple, it'll get thrown into pile #2 real quick.

I keep mine 1 page, and put notes like "... available upon request" in a fwe sections (education, etc.)

I mean, you want to get yourself in there for an interview. Make your name look nice, have a simple resume. Not mad crazy.

i don't have a real resume, being only 17, but from all my english teachers making us do one ever year, i'd say 2 pages is fine, no more than that, and do it on one side. The purpose of a resume is to quickly tell yourself to the employer. Keep everything as breif as possible, and it's perfectly acceptable to not use full sentences.

/teacher mode off
