Ferrari has taken its track-only FXX to the Detroit motor show, but announced that it is to unveil an all-new road-going model at the Geneva show at the end of February. The 599 GTB (long-rumoured to take the name 600 Imola) is the most powerful V12-engined Ferrari yet, with the mid/front-mounted 5,999cc unit as used in the Enzo developed for 620bhp at 7,600rpm. Designed by Pininfarina, the 599 GTB ("grand touring berlinetta") is a two-seater coupe built around an all-aluminium spaceframe chassis. It will replace the 575M Maranello.
