well, what version of mysql are you running?

not all support charset i dont think? or they support it but the syntax is different on each version. i think.

I had a problem where i couldnt update the db's on my server from my pc and i finally one day figured out my pc was running version 5 and the server was 4 lol.

phpMyAdmin 2.6.4-pl2

thats my hosts phpmyadmin version. Now how can I fix that error? :s

My old servers Sql was : Server version 4.1.14-standard

New servers : MySQL version 4.0.25-standard

I backed up the sql from cpanel of my old hos and when i try to restore it on this new on i get that error....

Any fix for this?

i'm still a newbie at php .... but aint u ment to close the sql with a semi-colon " ; " u havent done that on line 8 or line 10 (not sure which one try each)

where is that? I dont see it. :s
