actually, that can break while riding a horse... not sexually, but for sport.. once again, not sexually.

LOL! You're thinking of the hymen.

lol. are you an engineer?

Nope. That is the definition used on a radio show I used to listen to called Loveline. I liked that definition, so that's what I use.

I think that virginity is only lost in our minds. Since we can have sex for fun or for love...perhaps both. But let me tell you as a man that I could lose my virginity straight away with any girl but perhaps not the "sacred" virginity which I think handles a more deep meaning.

On the other hand, we'll never know if a woman has lost her virginity while having intercourse or by natural ways. What we can tell is how she expresses herself at the moment and if the point is even discussed.

I usually don't post. I'm an active reader. But I think this one is a good topic. :D

lmao!! alright then matee. so if i concentrate really hard can i lose the virginity in my mind? And how can a woman lose her virginity by 'natural ways'? its not like losing baby teeth, this ones up to you.

im suprised at how many people consider oral the virginity killer. I'd say it's when you have intercourse. getting a handjob definately does not mean you lost your virginity though, no matter how you look at it.

Some people look for an easy way out. But they'll never find it.

Personally i think the following:

A man is no longer virgin once he has come.

A girl is no longer a virgin once she has had anything in her (cant think of any nicer way to put it).

well that was pretty easy :p

So a twelve year old boy having his first w**k has lost his virginity?

And a twelve year old girl "experimenting" with long round items is no longer a pure little virgin?

Correct, that is how i see it.

Also i believe a girl has a skin cover which is classed by some as their virginity. This rips, thus meaning they have lost their virginity. This can rip simply by iding a bike or going horse riding etc... not by playing.

Ok, fair enough...I will agree to disagree with you, in a friendly way.

That bit of skin is called the hymen. 'Traditionally' it is broken the first time a girl has vaginal intercourse (most people do see that as losing your virginity). There is this myth that a girl having intercourse for the first time has to bleed and find it painful or it wasn't really her first time.

This does happen, apparently, but not to everyone. Which causes problems in cultures where they are so insistent that a new bride be a virgin they actually check the bed sheets for blood after!

Penetrative sexual intercourse.

Side note: It used t be practice in some Italian regions that the bedding was hung out on the day after the wedding. If there were red marks, the woman was a virgin and this represented the groom being her first. This is however, 100% hokum, seeing as I've been with women who bled just because they were tight/I was large.

In all honesty, "virgin" is just a word meaning "fresh and new". The dictionary definition that some post no longer holds true - it totally ignores oral/anal/lesbian/gay relationships.

I'd say the best definition is still the penetrative sexual intercourse thing "or the equivalent for your sexual preference"!
