LunarFalcon
Hi guys. Does anyone else have problems burning cd's with WMP8? The last 2 I've tried have errored out and wasted my cd-r's. Each time it completes 1 or 2 files then gives some error that doesn't seem to have any troubleshooter. Does anyone else have this problem or a suggestion on how to resolve? Thanks
0 username
it could be a bad MP3 file that is out of spec and WM8 cant handle, try another program, what did your burner come with?
0 FatCat
WMP8 is not a good way to burn cd's .. just my opinion.
0 LunarFalcon
At this point I'm going to have to agree with you, FatCat. I just tried it again, and it's errored out a 3rd time, on 2 different cd's (3 cd-r's now in the trash). Maybe there is something wrong with some of these files, is there anyway to check them out BEFORE it starts to copy? It always converts all the files successfully then copies a few and errors and closes off the cd. Here's the most recent error: "!An invalid alignment was specified" No other info... The More Help website at MS says "Error 8004020E. Sorry, no more help is available for the problem at this time."
