NY1 Posted January 15, 2006 Share Posted January 15, 2006 hey, So just the other day I was about to buy the Pioneer DVR-533H-S dvd recorder. That was until I read reviews of people having problems with TV-Guide and their cable box. Well I did some more research and apperantly the TV-Guide signal isn't even available in the NYC area via my cable provider (Cablevision). Now I have this problem, almost all new DVR's (Panasonic, Samsung, Pioneer etc..) use the TV-Guide system as a way to program future recordings. So basically I'm looking for a DVD recorder with an 80gb hd without TV-Guide. Can someone recommend anything? Thanks :) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
