Hint: Installing NAV2002 only from NSW2002 CD

Question

If you have Norton Systemworks 2002 not installed, and only want to install Norton Antivirus 2002, go to the NAV folder on the CD, and run the .MSI file.

Every feature of NAV will be available, including Live Update.

This should also work with the Norton Internet Security CD.

Umm... great... and you could just go through the SW install, deselect everything EXCEPT NAV, and install that way... not much more space is taken up dude. :right:

I prefer to install just NAV rather than NSW just selecting NAV because I hate that Norton Integrator, it makes more sense if you are just installing NAV to just have NAV...

Still a good method, but Baud's suggestion makes it so that you DO NOT have to deselect those items. As a matter of fact, it's a great idea that I use because I don't need Norton Integrator when I only use NAV.
