My family are thinking about buying the new SEAT Leon Sport 2.0TDI

Seat Leon Sport 2.0TDI

What are your views on it? Any reason not to get it? Cons and Pros?

Cheers

4/5 on Parkers http://www.parkers.co.uk/choosing/carrevie...x?model_id=1416

I very much like the looks.

As for pros/cons: Does what the Golf does (albeit somewhat more crudely) for less I guess.

I would of thought that the Golf is more on par with the Ibiza? I'm not saying your wrong btw, just asking!

The new Leon's are quite sleek but I much prefer the last model, preferably in Curpa R trim ;)

Ibiza is the Polo platform, Leon is the Golf platform.

Don't know much about it to be honest, but I've been told the suspension on the Leon's a world better than the Golf, but think that was the old model, my mate bought one last year, absolutely loves the thing, and he test drove eevvveerrrything

/edit - i test drove an audi a6 with that engine, its really torquey for a 2.0. really nice unit and does 50mpg (probably more in a leon).

Went for a test drive this morning, and it really does pack a punch. Handles nicely, and moves when you want it to :)

the cupra R version's even better.

the back on the new models aint aggressive enough, if you know what i mean.

if i didnt buy a golf, i would have got the last version of this.

the cupra R version's even better.

And a hell of a lot more expensive unfortunately. And nowhere near as economical
