how to remove video card bracket

how do u remove the current video card bracket to attach a low profile one?

the bracket thats affixed onto the video card itself

i need to remove it to enable me to install a low profile bracket onto it

since my pc is those slim cases

help is greatly appreciated

edit: and i know this is wrong forum , srry

can someone help please?

There should be screws that hold it down to the board.

thanks for the quick reply, but i meant the bracket thats affixed onto the video card itself

so i can put on the low profile one i bought since my pc is those slim cases

Which video card do you have? There should be a screw or two holding the plate to the card. You will also have to remove the nuts next to the vga/dvi port(s) as they hold the plate on as well.

nvidia fx 5200jaton nvidia fx 5200 (click for picture)

what should i use to remove the vga nuts?

Try a pair of pliers and put a towel between the jaws if you want to protect the nuts from getting all scratched up.

managed to get it working

great performance

one question though : on the box of my 3dforce fx 5200tv by jaton it says "intellisample technology" , if im not mistaken i thought fx 5200 doesnt support that O_O
