Windows Media Player

Question

I use Windows Media Player for only a few things...listening to MP3's, watching vids downloaded from internet..and listening to cd's on my computer....anyway..i started using WMP back at version 7 (with winME)...now i have version 8 (with XP)...and there is basicly nothing new that i use in WMP 8....will there be anything in WMP 9 that would be useful to me?

I like how it has a little video windows when minimized above your taskbar, so you can watch the video still. Besides that nahh, nothing that really interested me.

OT: I bought a toilet bowl cleaner that you hang on the side you know and I didn't realize it but it's mint flavored. What kind of sick freak wants his toilit to taste like a candy?

Well, there's tons of new stuff in Media Player, but what will be even bigger than the player are the new codecs. Windows Video 9 will offer better compression at higher quality than even Divx, and for the first time, with Windows video and audio profesional, there will be the ability to encode "LOOSELESS" audio and video.
