z-index, div's and select boxes

Question

Trix.Neo    1

Basicly in Firefox the divs go over select boxes/textboxes but in IE the select boxes show through the div. Ive tried setting z-index: to 1 on the select box and 2 on the div but its still not stopping the select box from showing through the div.

Any other idea's or other settings I need to set to stop this annoyance?

You need to use Javascript to hide the select boxes in IE whenever your div is expanded. It's the only way to fix it.

I believe using IFRAMEs in IE instead of DIVs will also fix the problem of the select box showing through...
