Media Center Guide Error 14 / 33

Hey everyone,

About a week ago, I went to download my Media Center Guide from Microsoft's Servers, and it randomly just started throwing exceptions while trying to download the EPG files.

When I start the transfer, it stays at "Connecting to the Internet" for about a minute, then briefly flashes the "Downloading files ..." label then returns: "Error Code 14, Unknown Discovery Service Error, please try downloading later". Sometimes, it returns Code 33 (Discovery Service: Service unavailable). It never worked again after that day.

The only link I was able to make here, is that occasionally, Internet Explorer seems to "refuse" very quickly to even try to connect to HTTPS websites. I was never able to find a definite fix to that as well, but using MSN Messenger's Connection Troubleshooter to "repair" was an effective workaround.

Does anyone know what could be causing this ? I have tried pretty much everything to get it to work, and it keeps on just returning that same error, over and over again.
