Nomader33
When I start Information System from the System Tools Folder, I get this message: Cannot access the Windows Management Instrumentation software. "Windows Management files may be moved or missing." Ok, what files are moved or missing and how do I get them back?

0 stutotherescue
hmm...i have XP Home and i just went into Msconfig...then to the Services tab...and Event log and RPC is in there.... if you don't see these then perhaps you need to contact microsoft if you bought WinXP or If XP came with you computer then you should contact you computer manufacturer people. 0 Nomader33
IF they had teeth - anyways, thanks found them - however the status shows they have been stopped - how do you get them running?
0 stutotherescue
hmm...very good question...i have lots of things that it says "Stopped" to as well..and i have no idea how to get them to say running...um... i would guess to make sure you have "Normal startup " selected under the General tab..and make sure that the services them selves are selected under the services tab....um.... if nothing else you can try deselecting the Event log and RPC and then selecting them again...and then MAYBE the Apply button will appear and stuff...um...if that doesn't work..then i don't know.
