yashiro
Source: Newsgroup: netscape.public.mozilla.seamonkey Dated: 2002-08-15 We've got Mozilla 1.0.1 pretty much where we want it. Today we're posting 1.0.1 release candidate builds. We think that these builds will prove themselves in more widespread testing and will not require significant changes to become the 1.0.1 final builds later this month. The 1.0.1 release candidate builds also give our localization and theme contributors a couple weeks head start in getting their work ready in time for the 1.0.1 final release. To give these test builds a spin visit http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla/release...ozilla1.0.1rc1/ We're also wrapping up Mozilla 1.1. Our 1.1alpha and 1.1beta releases helped identify a number of important bugs that are now all fixed, and we're testing builds that we hope will become our final Mozilla 1.1 release early next week. You can help us test these 1.1 candidate builds by grabbing your particular binary flavor from http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla/nightly/latest-1.1/ If you find something that should be a show-stopper for 1.1 please email drivers@mozilla.org. --Asa
Malechai Veteran Posted August 16, 2002 Veteran Share Posted August 16, 2002 curious: why would they release 2 patches at the same time, with one being of higher version than the other?
reactionary007
um.. 1.1 and 1.01?? whats with that?
havyn
they are different trees. 1.0 (1.0.1) is the stable tree, where features are being polished off, but not really added, while 1.1 (1.1.0) is the dev tree, where the focus is more on feature sets and changlogs. i think. Toxikk Veteran Posted August 16, 2002 Veteran Share Posted August 16, 2002 is anyone else noticing that mozilla does not stay in its same position after you close it if you use the quicklaunch feature?
BroChaos Veteran Posted August 16, 2002 Veteran Share Posted August 16, 2002 hey toxikk, i noticed something about that netscape search when i choose google. it only happens when i type it in the address bar and then hit enter. if i type it in the address bar, and then click the search icon it works correctly. so at work today, i tried it on an older build (2002080711), and when you type in a term and hit enter, it doesn't even search, it just says invalid url. can someone try searching by hitting return and let me know if it opens up netscape search instead of google. i'm thinking maybe this is a new feature, and that's why it was being buggy for me. and i don't know whats wrong with your window moving, i tried to get mine to move but it wont.
