So I had that happen to me a while ago and I've always wondered how common this is.

*edit* for the second question, change it to "has another female hit on you before?" : /

I'm a female and I'm pretty sure another female hasn't hit on me. When my bf was 18, a bloke hit on him; by buying him a Mars Bar - which is more than just being friendly :p but he just ate it!

(male here) yep, i've been hit on by a male before. it's the effects of going to a all boys school.

Doesn't really bother me all that much, i just ignore it :p

I probably get hit on by at least 1 guy and 1 older woman every month, it's weird. I used to work with some 40+ year old waitresses at a private club and had at least 3 of them consistently try to grab my ass. The time I posted naked pictures of myself, for some reason over 20 people took that as "Hey this guy is gay let's contact him for sexual favors"

Gotta love people who assume....

I don't care if a guy hits on me, as opossed to it being a girl. The problem is when either sex thinks I'm going to give them sexual favors...I never do outside of relationships and often do not during them either. I'm not interested in guys, and being naked doesn't change that. But I'm not gonna yell at someone who just didn't know I was straight, seems kind of silly. Just let them know I'm not interested and move on.

Whats the point in "Maybe" and "N/A". You've either had it happen or not! In my case, no I havent

The N/A is for a null vote. Or can you answer the "I'm a straight female" question without using N/A.. :p

I don't really notice the girls that hit on me anymore because I have a gf but occasionally men stare at me. I was with my mom once and she pointed it out. Thats when I really started to notice. I guess I just dress well. I assume that most gay men feel that other gay men have a good sense of style therefore I must be gay as well.

Nope. And I wouldn't mind if a guy did - I'm straight, but I'd admire him for having to guts to do so. Personally I'd just smile and explain to him that I'm straight and let him go on his way. I'm sure the majority of guys would be discussed or even abusive towards other guys who hit on them, which is why I would admire a gay guy for having the guts to give it a go.

Dunno about Men.

Used to have a lot of Women looking at me when I was at College even with a gf or not.

I don't understand being hit upon, nor if a women is flirting, but as usual my fiance does and I get the gobfull over it.

If a Woman is polite and wants an interlectual conversation then how can that be a come-on, wish someone would tell my fiance that.

Then because I will have a laugh and a joke I am the flirt.

You can't win.

i did not so long ago, a friend of mine has alot of gay/lesbian friends so spends alot of her time in the gay scene when she goes out... i recently met one of her friends n after a while he called me a 'sac' i later learned that it's something him and his friends come up with, which stands for 'Shag A Chav'...meaning me, wen i asked why he said that he said he thought i was cute n stuff... i just thought it was funny, i'm straight and that was the end of it.

Im a straight male, and I've tried having another male hit on me serveral times. I think it's because I'm rather skinny that they always try on me. Most of the time I just laught at them or ignore them, sometimes if I feel comfortable with it I play along which actually is rather fun both for you and your friends, especially at a bar or something :p

The only time it happens to me is when they think I'm a girl. :/

I have shoulder length blonde hair so when I'm out with my girlfriend hugging or kissing I get people walking past and saying "Lesbian!" or trying to hit on "us" thinking we are both girls.

If they did i would say i'm not gay then if they tried it again without getting the hint i would just push them away saying f*ck off
