jayp6969
Yahoo has targeted the broadband market in its latest release of its instant messenger software. With the release of Yahoo Messenger 5.5, Yahoo has introduced a new feature called Super Webcam. This feature allows one-to-one videoconferencing for broadband users at speeds of up to 20 frames per second. The standard for the movie industry is 24 frames per second. This is a great improvement over the previous version of Yahoo Messenger which only offered videoconferencing at speeds of 1 frame per second. Video resolution has also improved with a maximum resolution of 320 x 240 with a previous resolution of 160 x 120. One of Yahoo?s competitors in the instant messenger market, Microsoft, included videoconferencing in its messenger service, Windows Messenger, released with Windows XP. Videoconferencing will not be offered in AOL?s Instant Messenger until it is interoperable with other instant messengers. This is part of the regulation put in place on the company by the FCC when it approved its merger with Time Warner. Read More Here YOU HEARD IT FIRST FROM.............
