Borbus
MP3 Player. I haven't owned a portable cd player for years. They're so crap compared to MP3 players, much bigger size but only one album in at a time.
Raum
I use an HP-1220 Iriver in my car with a tape adapter, as well as when I go for walks and stuff. Sometimes I use normal tapes in my car too, got a nice collection...Sabbath, Jethro Tull, Rush, Maiden etc :D

Tuxic
I don't listen to music on the move as much as I used to, but when I do it's with an MP3 player. Having said that, I always use files in WAV or lossless formats (WMA Lossless etc...) wherever possible so as not to lose any quality. One of the one things that kept me with my CD player so long was battery life. A ?60 Sony CD player could easily give 30+ hours of battery life on a couple of AA batteries. A ?200 iPod (especially the pre 4th generation ones) would struggle to get 8 hours.

I've seen Sony players with a claime dbattery life around 20 hours, and I know my iRiver consistently gets 20 hours of battery life. I'll use it in my car for weeks without charging it. I'd get a car charger, but just taking it inside my house every now and then and charging it while I sleep isn't a problem.
TaiCrunch
MP3 player. Lately I haven't been able to listen to just one artist for a long time and I like to switch around. So I just put my Zen Micro on shuffle and I'm good to go.

Sensayshun
CD MP3 player. Same here. I can hold about 6 albums, very high quality, and I get nearly 100hours of battery life. Something which I havn't found an MP3 player which can rival. Saves me a fortune on batteries.
MGS4-SS
MP3 player. Its compact, never skips, and has a longer battery life.
Napalm Frog
CD MP3 players also. I admit to ahving an MP3 player, but that's because I have only 150 CDs compared to my bajillion I have on my computer (120GB worth). Though, I do find it dumb how I have more music on my MP3 player (1 GB) than my battery can play in one go. And since it recharges via USB, what's the point? Recharge when you are transferring new files.
