Yorak
I smoked for like 3 months and quit. I smoke cigars and stuff now occassionally. Only had a few hits of weed.
kernatch
nup, tried it a few times. nicotine is a **** drug! all it did was make my head feel a bit weird, can't say it was pleasurable or anything. if you're gonna do drugs, do something worthwhile (and one where the method doesn't kill you). hmm, and weed. i didn't really enjoy that either. at least you don't have to smoke it though. Fedorpheux
tobacco use kills 1 person every 8 seconds edit: 32 seconds just rolled by; 4 people dead ...and ranting pink elephants with yellow polka-dots raving about the latest Anna Nichole special on E! while jumping out of an upside-down airplane at 3 and a half feet of elevation kill 4 people every 7 weeks, except in leap years. I just think statistics like that are completely useless and worthless and anybody who trusts them a lot or even cares about them a lot needs to open their eyes. Of course smoking isn't good for the human body. But, also according to these same kinds of statistics, nobody should ever drive their car because thousands and thousands of people die due to car accidents. And don't tell me that people drive cars because they have to. There are plenty of people who live regular lives without having to drive cars. Public transportation, walking (*gasp*), and other various forms of transportation manage to move people from point A to point B. The point is I drive cars because I want to and I enjoy it. I smoke (rarely) because I want to and I enjoy it...but only rarely. More often than "rarely" and I don't really enjoy it, plus I don't feel like spending that much money on it. My choices don't really have much of anything to do with these "scary" statistics.
ride365
People that smoke don't bother me as long as they keep to themselves. Go somewhere else to smoke and no people still don't like it when you walk 6 inches outside the door and light up. The point of going outside is so you don't smell it inside. Enough ranting like it will make a difference anyways.

Laurë Veteran Posted February 21, 2006 Veteran Share Posted February 21, 2006 When I'm angry, depressed and stressed all at the same time I will smoke because I find it relaxing. I don't seem able to become addicted though! I have to say that smokers who think they have a right to make other people breath their pollution are irritating - it is just selfish. But so is driving, as people have rightly pointed, and living at all.... Nope. Ever smoked a thing.. Nada. Don't intend to either. nope, don't intend to either I remember getting the anti-smoking, anti-drugs brainwashing at school. Everyone in the class (including myself) would say that they never 'intend' to smoke. Most of us have and it is a naive thing to say because you really do not know how you will feel in five or ten years.
Deron Dantzler
I'll be 23 on March 2nd. I'm removed from the school experience and "brain washing" and I still find smoking to be disgusting. I am angered by the fact that non-smokers are forced to be submitted to smokers careless habits on a daily basis. There's not a single day in my life where I am not at some point aware of cigarette smoke and it's STUPID. I just wish some people were more considerate of others. It's just as rude as speaking vulgarly in the presence of other individuals loudly.
