3 has been able to aquire 3.8 million custs since 2003 (launched) which is less than 3 years.. and they were the fastest to do so.. its surprising to see them doing so well still when most of the votes are for others

I have been with orange for about the last 8 years and have never had one problem with them.

I have always found that it is really simple to get in contact with their customer services and have always found them to be polite, helpful and a couple of times even having a sense of humour (spent 30mins once talking to one just about normal, everday life and sharing a joke or two).

I find that they have very good deals and pricing plans and a very good selection of handsets, modern and old and really feel that they are the best compay there is for mobiles.

Also you've gotta love the adverts they put in front of movies, where actors/actresses are making a film pitch for funding  The Darth Vader one is funny as hell

O2, T-Mobile, O2

I used to be with Vodafone who are pretty good, but a few years ago I made the switch to O2, mainly coz most of my m8s were on o2. I have to say, in the years i've been with o2 I have recieved excellent customer service and network reception has always been reliable.

i can only say for O2 and orange, but both had good customer services.

Well i dont need to phone them often, in fact hardly ever, because nothing really goes wrong. With O2 i think they usuall charge you to call customer services, and i no that with Orange it's free (pay monthly)

The deals are pretty much all the same except for 3, where it's usually better, but the choice of handsets are rubbish. O2, voda, orange had better range of handsets but the deals arent as good as 3.

If you want good deals then check out the network's online stores - they are usually better than in the shops. Or check out 3rd party websites (www.e2save.co.uk , www.dialaphone.co.uk , etc) you will find even better deals (there was this one deal where you get a free ipod nano or psp from e2save!!!!)

I realised whatever deal you find, that in the second year when you come to renew your contract you can bargin with them for a better deal. I was able to cut my gf's line rental from ?25 to ?15 on the same tariff!

anyways good luck

  • 1 year later...

Sorry to drag this up from the past, but I just wanted to say how awful Vodafone customer service is. I was on a PAYG contract with them, and they took ?65 from my account for no reason. When I called them to ask why they couldn't tell me, and informed me I'd have to request a chargeback from the bank. After a few letters and hours on the phone I eventually got the money refunded after six weeks. When I emailed them with a copy of the letter they'd sent me asking for compensation, they gave me a pathetic ?5WORST provider I've ever usedb>.

I've used Orange, Virgin and O2, but have not had much experience with customer service.

My bf recently had his phone replaced by Virgin after it became faulty, so I think they get a few points for that (and a few more for being so good about it). Unfortunately, Virgin lose points for having crap reception. I've found O2 to be the best for reception, followed by Orange. I will probably stick with either of those two for the forseeable future (I'm on O2 at the moment).

O2 is the absolute best. They have to be.. It's the big daddy of all networks. :p

Orange = Best customer service(hardly any waiting, understanable accent, funny, give you free stuff) & mobile internet portal(soon free) & good value

O2 = Poor customer service( Scottish people who speak too fast, don't understand their own systems or tariffs), DON'T PROVIDE DELIVERY REPORTS BY CHOICE!!!!!   , rubbish/expensive internet portal...... however great value simplicity tariff and free customer service :) .

Im with O2 currently as they have good sim only contracts, however if orange had the same deal, id be joining orange straight away!
