before i installed both leaked builds, i created a system restore point in XP.... just restored to that point and got my WMP8 back after i discovered Corona sucked and wouldnt play 30% of my movies.

if u have xp... really.. u should create a system restore point before installing this kinda stuff.....

If you have Windows XP you can always do a restore from the point that it was installed. If you are running another windows OS, then you are out of luck. You should have never installed it if you didn't have a route back. So it looks like you'll have to format. There are other options it just depends on the OS. I know with Windows 2000, you may could do a system repair and in most cases that will reinstall all the files that are suppose to be there, which may would give you the older version of WMP. 98 or ME, you are on your own. I haven't used them in years.

Hi,

Get your hands on some uninstall software such as norton uninstall or something similar.

Reinstall the program, and then run the uninstaller to remove it.

I don't know WHY you don't backup. Backup comes with XP home and Professional and it doesn't take much to partition the hard drive and back up your primary partition to it. This is INCASE restore does not work. Anyway, good luck.
