Yep. Started early.

Now ten years later, I can't get a girlfriend to save my life.

Lol, its like when you get a paycheck and spend it right away at Best Buy and then can buy anything else for the rest ot the month. :p

Adding to the list of single 4 life people here. Hopefully that will change sometime soon. :)

Oh well, at least you have a beeker avatar and sig!

Forgot about me.. I had my first "serious" realtionship sophmore year of highschool (if you can call it serious)

I was about eleven when I first had the whole "will you go out with me", "yes" routine - we didn't even hold hands and I dumped him for pushing me out of the way to get on a coach first (school trip). I suppose my first real boyfriend was at 13 or 14 - depending on criteria.

Well I would like to participate in this poll but I have no idea what these are

Middle School

High School - Freshman

High School - Sophomore

High School - Junior

High School - Senior

I'm assuming this is how schools in America are structured??

Are you aware that not everyone that uses this message board are located in the US??

For the people that live in Australia who would like to vote in this poll

When did you first have a b/f or g/f.

Primary School

Secondary School

University

Sometime after Secondary School

I had my first girlfriend just after Secondary School I was 17 by the way.

Well said. Typical of Americans  :p

Girlfriend? Who needs a girlfriend!!? I'm a bachelor and a proud one at that :p . So that makes me the fifth person to say he's single and loving it :p .

Lol I was a popular little dude in elementary school. I had a ton of friends that were girls. I don't think it would be proper to say anything before like 14 was a true girlfriend. Anyways, middle school = nothing, highschool = nothing until my senior year. I dated that girl for 8 months. Now in college, I'm working on my true second girlfriend.

Hmm, I was always under the impression that there is no time in college because there's too much work.

I was about 16 at the time, and she was a little younger. Worst 3 months of my life. I never even kissed the girl and to this day I don't know why we were dating and often, I deny it happened...

Here we are, I'm 20 now and I've had a girlfriend for almost 2 years and its been the best 2 years of my life ;-)

I don't know what idea makes me laugh more, the idea that relationships should be used to cause jeaously or that how far you've gone sexually determines how serious and deep things between you two are.

Just saying it makes my freind jealous when me and my gf kiss and get intimate as they dont have anyone, I didnt get a gf to make them jealous its just an extra bonus, Well yeah I mean if we had sex and she got pregnant that would make the relationship serious will it not? As opposed to just kissing and having the option of dropping out at anytime means the relationship isnt as serious.

An added bonus? Still laughable to me that you consider making people jealous, your friends much less, a positive aspect of having a girlfriend. Go play some Morrowind and find out what happens when tax collectors flaunt their money, might teach you a lesson. :p

Sex versus kissing in the context you put it in just means more responsibility, not more seriousness. Ever hear of a guy getting a girl pregnant, then just running off? How about one-night stands? Sexuality is a very poor measure of how serious a relationship is. For example, in my freshman year I hooked up with a girl who turned out being little more than your average slut, and she gave me a ###### on date #1. Only saw her once or twice after that and never as much as kissed her. Deanna, a girl I dated a few winters ago, was with me for 4 months roughly and th emost we did was kiss, and she was one of my most serious, deepest relationships ever. With how modern people view and treat sex it's a terrible indication of their feelings towards eachother IMO.
