The US government is a belligerent bully, hell bent on subversive world domination.

I despise them because of their actions in relation to their position politically and militarily.

I want to see them removed and officials in the administration taken to trial for Crimes against Humanity. Not just the current Administration either, there are plenty of others that went before that started the ball rolling.

I'm not going to try and justify anything yet. I know where i stand.

I started the poll to see where others stand, and how peoples opinion distributes..... ;)

If you're going to start a thread with such bold claims, you should justify why you feel that way. This will give the thread content and a discussion, instead of just a poll where everyone says "I hate Bush!" or "I love Bush!"

no more than any other country really, especially one with all the power. you only need to look back to various empires of the past to see other countries acting pretty much the same, and America doesn't even have an empire and never will imo.

where are you from??? You obvously dont know crap about the American government. Its not hell bent on subversive world domination. Yeah we have someone who can't do there job in charge but that doesn't mean we're the source of all evil.

Not so much evil, I just feel they're a corrupt group of people focused more on their own greedy, political ambitions, devoting more care to the people with deep pockets that sponsor them rather than attending to the needs of those they're supposed to represent - the American public.

But really, this is nothing new. Things in America have been this way for a while and as far as I can see are only going to get worse. How does it feel to know, my fellow American citizens, that the majority of our officials consider dollar bills more important than out lives?

I really wish there were enough people focused on changing our systems that it'd be a worthwhile cause to take up. I'll push for it, but until you people get off your complacent, ignorant asses and realize what's going on, we're not going to get rid of the propoganda, disinformation, scare tactics, greed and so forth anytime soon.

I really would like to find my own island and be a hermit.

He's obviously a "Greenie" from the UK - Alsheron's website is a .UK website, and he talks like a Greenie - which is today's re-packaging of Communism/Socialism. He's a disaffected, angst-ridden limey who obviously believed the left-wing/Communist/Socialist propaganda that was spoon-fed to him like so much pablum.

Wonderful Post! The original poster, while I disagree with him 100% and have a few choice words for him that wouldn't pass the censor, at least gave the option for the sane people to vote that America isn't "evil."

Disagreeing with a world leader is one thing. Stereotyping a country as evil is completely different.

I think the excesses of the US government need to be fixed by the American people, not by people from countries with people who have little or no sense or understanding of the importance of democratic principles and modern secular freedoms.

There are no claims at all, just a general opinion. It's not just about Bush either. It's about his government and its actions either dependant on him and his instruction or otherwise. It's also about American government as a world political, social and military force that affects other nations.

In my opinion, American government has done a great deal of harm to other nations of recent times, and from what i can tell, some of it deliberate in order to protect it's own vested interests but not necessarily the interests of its own people. It has a lot to answer for, not least of which it's foreign policy.

The current administration (Bush) just has an aggressive stance with relation to their foreign policy. Constrast to this would be the Non-aggessive passive stance would be that of the Clinton administration, which does not necessarily make it bad. Its ALL Situational. To say an administration is Evil is an exaggeration just because you may disagree with the way decisions are made is absurd. If you see them as evil that your limited opinion and perspective.

Lets be clear about this: At no point have I stereotyped a country. I'm talking specifically about the government.

I've been very careful with my wording. Re-read my original post and poll questions carefully before flaming please.

As for ScottKin, again, re-read my post and poll questions.

My poll is very obviously not a Flame-war/blah blah blah. Instead of jumping to conclusions about what you think i've said, try reading carefully what i've actually said and the questions i've asked.

The poll is open ended. There are clear options there to vote negatively on the premise of my post.

I know this is a highly charged subject, which is exactly why i'm very interested in peoples views, my own being very strong.

Peace!

The ops redicilous solutions to a poor american goverment are ironicaly no diffrent from the motivations of america itself.

No your questionairre poll is not open ended. Or it would consist of = Avoid biasing the responses. A biased question or questionnaire encourages respondents to answer one way rather than another. Avoid ?loaded? questions. Open ended would have been "What are you thoughts or views on the current American Political Administration". Thereby letting the respondents reply how they want not directing them in the direction of words emphgasizing "Evil", "Corruption" "Impeachment", these could be displayed under your own post.

Given my clearly stated point of view in relation to the poll, people responding to the poll would either agree or disagree. There are options to place a "disagreeing" vote.

You're somehow implying I am influencing the vote. I don't think I have that power. I can't do Jedi mind-tricks.:whistle:tle:
