Looked like it was running on software drivers :s, it was clearly not running smoothly

but it's running, right now dragging a window lags like hell and there's no 3d support AT ALL

Looks like we've got another contest on our hands...

Drivers Contest

The last one was such a success, lets try another - with a twist! The ATI Radeon x1600, the video card in the Macbook Pro and iMac doesnt fully work yet. You can be involved in setting the criteria for the winner. Take a look!

Fantastic, i think that is a good idea- seems like getting the graphics card working is a big problem, and people need something like cash prizes to make it worth spending the time to get it work

when getting another computer i would love a mac, but other family members wouldn't, if we could install xp on a mac it could push up the idea of getting a mac :p

so how stable is xp on an intel mac, is it the exact same as on a pc?? will it for example play games for windows just as normal??

Got mine today, but I don't want to go through the whole setup process again to do this. Nor do I want to pay the $45 for iPartition to make space for Windows. Maybe once they get the video drivers working...
