We encourage you to download these and provide us with feedback. Register to Download To access these downloads, please register for the beta program at BetaPlace. Use the following Beta ID and password to gain access to the site: ID: SDKBETAb>Password: SIGNMEUPb> (Note: Expect a 24-hour delay between registering at the site and being able to download the beta.) The .NET Framework 1.1 Beta features improved scalability and performance; support for mobile device development with the ASP.NET Mobile Controls (formerly the Microsoft Mobile Internet Toolkit); support for Internet Protocol version 6; and classes in ADO.NET for native communication with Open Database Connectivity (ODBC) and Oracle databases. It also enables the use of code access security to further lock down and isolate ASP.NET applications. For more information, read the .NET Framework 1.1 Beta Overview. We will release the .NET Framework 1.1 to the manufacturer simultaneously with Microsoft Windows .NET Server 2003. We appreciate your help in making this a strong, successful release and look forward to hearing about your experiences developing with and running this software http://msdn.microsoft.com/netframework/pro...xt/download.asp http://www.betaplace.com This is the Version of the .NET Framework Which is included in "Everett:):) apparently microsoft is testing them seperately. "everett" refers to the VS GUI itself.. while this referes to just the framework.
