I know this is a strange question, but I'll give it a shoot. The two large computer corporations--more of a liberal or conserative basis?

My thoughts:

Apple > Liberal, they're obviously more liberal yet they're selfish. A mix.

Microsoft > In-between, they're more community-oriented, and they're becoming more liberal. Plus, Bill Gates is a liberal, so props to that.

 Thoughts?

Well glad you changed your avatar, it looked like either you were having sex with your camera, or you just got socked in the face and you were high.

Anyhoo, I think Apple takes a differant approach to computeing, albight, stupidly expensive, but conservative non-the-less, they trust users with their operating system, mainly because their OS untill late was locked onto its propritary BIOS and hardware motherboard.

Microsoft thinks all their users are pirates, and they MIGHT be right, Taking draconic activation methods that don't help, people get fed up, they pirate a copy rather then having to deal with "Now did you uninstall Windows XP from your other three machines? No? NO WINDOWS FOR YOU!!!!!!"

Im certainly not a Windows or Mac fanboy, I've never touched OS-X, I don't even have an IPod, and I use Windows XP, and test Windows Vista, Its real fun having activation issues on a product that isnt even released yet. ._.

Oh yeah, to add onto the frustration of Windows, if you have really bad luck, it boils down to these steps..

-Install Windows XP

-Activate

-Get ready to patch on MS Update

-Get hit by Blaster, or one of the other many virus's.

-Swear incoherently

-Reformat

Rinse and Repeat until firmly updated. If you do happen to update, and get hit by a virus before MS releases it on "Tuesday", repeat the steps and hope to hell the ever so willing to help you MS tech support has had a good day and deems it well to reinstall Windows, if he doesn't, well their are some nice little activation patches available.. fekking MS.. >_>

...yes I do speak from experiance.. frustratingly gained experiance.

._. Now if you excuse me..I have to download Office 2007 from Beta.microsoft.com, a website that if hit by enough traffic, could very well be hosted on a 56k connection..
