Manson_AAN
i agree the Mac Mini, and don't get the K 750i, get one of the walkman phones - more memory and features and a better phone overall.
+Dick Montage Subscriber² Posted March 18, 2006 Subscriber² Share Posted March 18, 2006 Manson_AAN: The w800 and k75i are the same phones with diff firmwares. I'd go for the phone.

Max Veteran Posted March 18, 2006 Veteran Share Posted March 18, 2006 Well what do you need most? If you have an old, crappy phone with a PowerMac G5 sitting on the side then get the phone... If you already have some massive phone which makes you a cup of tea and a Pentium II computer, get the Mac Mini.
the_snitch
Dont get the phone. It'll get hacked up from usage, maybe stolen, and by the end of the year seem bulky, look like crap, and have no features that any of the new phones have. On the other hand, the mac is a freaking computer! It'll provide you with lots of fun, last at least 3 years, and if you havn't owned a mac before it will give you a great learning curve. vancity001
^ Or you could say the opposite. I would go for the phone, but thats only because I think the mac mini is a piece of crap

Tuxic
Surely it's up to you. Whatever you want more, do you prefer using a computer or talking on the phone. I would favour the Mac Mini every time, to be honest, I'm a little suprised you comparing a Mac to a mobile phone! A phone is for talking, texting, playing snake and not much else. I would guess you'd get a lot more enjoyment out of a mac than a phone. Plus there must be quite a price difference? I certainly know that if I was opening my presents on my birthday, I'd prefer to get a new computer, than a new phone  . PT 13
Voted mac Mini even though the k750i is a great phone, but a mac mini has more utility (at least for me)
Gabureiru
the k750i has a camera, an mp3 player, BT, and is a phone. All of that in one small mobile package....
bob_loblaw
If you already have a phone you're happy with, go with the Mac. If you don't want to try out a Mac and have a GREAT (albeit about to be replaced) go with the phone.
