NCIvey
Adam and Eve is story made to explain away evolution. That goes along another thing I like to argue with religious fanatics. If sex and conception before marriage are so wrong, then were Adam and Eve sinners? Who married them before Cain and Abel were conceived? And you know they'll come up with some "God married them" nonsense.
slickice11
Well if you believe in creationism I would say no they didn't because they were created by god, not born

Well it must be so unfortunate for you to live in this world since 95% of the world believes in a supernatural "Creator" in one form or another. Thus, who is the real fanatic? You, or 95% of the rest of the world? Genius.

I said I disagree with some of the religious people in the world who think we should all live our lives by their beliefs or we're damed to hell for being sinners if we don't. I believe in a God. Just not most of the BS stories made up by religions to back their reasons for their lifestyle and their beliefs.

joeydoo
Adam and Eve; who are they? Disney characters? .......Oh I remember now, the story with the thing and the guy and the other one. Yeah wasn't it from that book. It's all flooding back now. Yeah I thought story wasn't very good. Sure the nudity is good but I like Raymond Chandler maybe a bit of James Ellroy. That god geezer's prose falls a bit flat. I think they had belly buttons. If fact I just decided, they DID have belly buttons.
RevelMore
I didn't vote because it is clearly unknown wither they did or not. And if it is known, then i'll wait for someone to prove me wrong :)

Thus, who is the real fanatic? You, or 95% of the rest of the world? Genius. I am agnostic, I believe in a creator, but not the fairy tales shoved down the throats of billions, therefore I am not religious. There is a huge difference between being religious and believing in a creator. Religion is a series of interpretations and everlasting myths perpetuated as fact upon those who need to hear it. There is nothing wrong with being religious but then again there is nothing wrong with not being religious. To each their own. Back on topic, I don't believe in the Adam and Eve story so therefore, they didn't have bellybuttons much less bellies to hold the buttons, lol. Freakz
i reckon adam had one but eve didnt.... i also reckon adam teased the absolute hell out of eve cause she didnt have one.... and then god decided to even the score and gave eve one so adam would shut the hell up

Actually, I be prepared to wager most of the modern world believes in evolution, which by definition means that they do not believe in a "creator". I'd also like to see your source on the "95%". Back on to topic: I'd vote for the latter option since I believe Adam and Eve is just a story.

Or maybe that was before the Law, so it wasn't a sin. :) Few people actually pay attention to Bible chronology or the purpose of anything God says or does. seta-san
why do you people have such contempt for religion. The spanish inquisition would slap you upside the head for that kind of talk sir :) So in the past they taught people different from what they do now....... Using the same book......written by him upstairs.......(see where I am going with this)......him up stairs being infallible.......so....... if he was wrong before he can't be infallible............. his existence, as an omnipotent being, is therefore negated. Sorry. Nothing I can do.
