  1. 1. Do you think holodeck tech will become real?

I believe the idea behind the holodeck may be achieved but rather than walking into a room it would be similar to the idea in the Matrix where the computer interfaces with our brain. It just seems much more plausible than a room like the holodeck. Of course if it happens I'm sure it will be in the very distant future.

well the holodeck is created using forcefields and photons so if you can create them you can create a holodeck. The only thing they reckon they cant do is the transporter because someat about your brain never stops moving or something so they cant do it for living stuff.

For stuff like a TV or stuff like that it is possible.

Would be good imagine buying someat on internet then gets beamed to your house like within say a few hours it would be ace.Spose then all wed need is a transporter that beams sections of ya hair off leaving you with the perfect haircut hahaha

And then maybe a device which could plug in to your brain and teach you how to correctly use english grammer and spelling? :p

Well, we already got companies succesfully creating holograms, 3d images that float in the air just like in movies it's crazy so I vote 50-100 because the speed at which science evolves is almost as if it's exponential.

Just look at processor computer. 80/86, 286, 386, 486, Pentium 90mhz, 100mhz, 133mhz, 166mhz.... 900mhz, 1ghz..... 2ghz, 2.1ghz..... OK it is actually gradual but everything went by so fast
