metallithrax
WGAF, Really, isn't there anything local that you can watch? I used to watch WWF, but stopped when I cancelled SKY sports. Now if I want any news, I just go to wrestlezone.com - which is not very often as I watch more UFC than any other.

Charun.nl
Not sure how popular it is in Holland, but i love it... The broadcasting is just what the WWE have contracted with a certain TV station. And since there money greeding sucking machines our country can/will not pay that or they think there will be not enough viewers to suport their costs. BTW read this bullocks... I mail the question ( acting stupid ) If the WWE is broadcasting in holland ( might been some extra pay thingy on cable or digital ) here is there replay... ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Fan Services <FanServices@wwecorp.com> to me More options 20-Feb Thanks for your email to WWE. LOC Veteran Posted April 5, 2006 Veteran Share Posted April 5, 2006 Wrestling is badly acted garbage. Simply, the stupidist form of entertainment for the mindless. BTW, it's broadcasted all over the world. So is most of the crap on TV, what's your point? If you actually took the time to watch it instead of bash it, you'd see some of the storylines are quite complicated and take months and months to come to a conclusion. If you can only see the "fakeness" of professional wrestling, that isn't our fault. And it isn't broadcasted all over the world, there are plenty of places you cannot watch it, including here in the States.
Sn4k36
I do think it should be boardcast all over the world.. But these days the WWE has gone down the drain.. from what it use to be like 10 years.
LOC Veteran Posted April 5, 2006 Veteran Share Posted April 5, 2006 I do think it should be boardcast all over the world.. But these days the WWE has gone down the drain.. from what it use to be like 10 years. True, but this is because WWE doesn't have someone like The Rock or Steve Austin or even Hulk Hogan to represent the company in this day and age. John Cena, while very gifted and certainly a good champion for them, just doesn't cater to everyone (hence his current stance with some fans). HHH is the only "big" name I think they have that they can always go to, other than the obvious people like Shawn Michaels or Chris Benoit etc. They have to mold someone and create a character everyone can go with, just like with The Rock or Austin or Hogan. +Dick Montage Subscriber² Posted April 7, 2006 Subscriber² Share Posted April 7, 2006 Agreed - WWE is losing it's place in the market. I mean, who are the fans behind these days? Oddly enough HHH. The fans now seem to respect the fact that he's possibly the best WRESTLER on the roster - alongside the likes of Kurt Angle. I mean Batista gets great pops, but just ain't the Rock - he has little mic skills. Look at the BIG names: The Rock, Steve Austin, Hulk Hogan - none of these are amazing wrestlers, but good showmen. And they never seem to understand that fans are after wrstling now. The likes of Benoit, RVD, Jericho and Christian just get hugely overlooked because they either "don't look the part" or aren't mic-savvy. This is why TNA is getting such a great following. When Christian moved over to TNA it should have really made WWE think. This guy had appalling storylines created, to the point he started going against them and reviving his own ideas (Captain Charisma was his, the "peeps" thing was his). Even though he was a heel, he was over with the fans. But the powers that be (Steph McM - head Smackdown writer now) couldn't monopolise on his self-created image, she had no idea how to use it. TNA do!
