Windows XP Display Drivers

Recommended Driver - CATALYST? 02.3

Driver Build 6.13.10.6166

7.76-020815B-005727C

Posted September 12, 2002

This is a fully released and supported display driver for Windows XP. DirectX 8.1 and OpenGL support are included.

These drivers, as part of the CATALYST software suite, are the first to market which have been designed for Microsoft XP Service Pack 1. CATALYST 02.3 has been optimized for maximum stability and compatibility with Service Pack 1.

The ATI Catalyst 02.3 display driver bundle does not include ATI's proprietary Display Panel controls. To obtain this support you will also require the Control Panel bundle.

The Capture Driver bundle is also required in order to obtain appropriate capture support for ALL-IN-WONDER products.

Also..... updates for

WDM Capture Driver build 6.13.10.6125 V5

and

Windows XP ATI Control Panels, ATI Control Panels 6.13.10.3027

I downloaded them a few days ago for my 8500. They fixed the problems I was having with the 2.2 set like faint vertical stripes on the screen and screwed up fonts in games like UT. Everything is working really well now; very good release.

I installed the drivers before this post was up and haven't played any games yet I had to re-install everything my HD took a dump.

Installed for my AIW 7500, I am sure they work better then the prior release

These drivers have been out since at least the 12th. Someone posted that there were some new Plutonium 8.1 drivers for ATi cards a couple of days ago and I've been using them ever since.

These are drivers built from various driver sets offering better visual quality with good frame rates (rates are usually a tad bit slower but not noticeable to me).

You can get Plutonium drivers at www.driverheaven.net
