RadishTM Veteran Posted April 9, 2006 Veteran Share Posted April 9, 2006 The days of bespoke coachbuilding are making a comeback for Ferrari with Zagato's 575GTZ.Based on the 575 Maranello, the GTZ is styled by Italian designers Zagato to emulate the classic 1960s Ferrari 250 GT coupes. The car has been commissioned by a prominent Japanese collector, Yoshiyuki Hayashi, who owns several historic Ferraris and wanted something unique. The two-seater 575GTZ's bodywork is made from aluminium and has subtle two-tone paintwork. Zagato has only released a teaser image of the car as yet, but it already looks like the 575GTZ is going to be one of the best-looking Ferraris ever created. As for how much the 575GTZ has cost to build, only Mr Hayashi knows that... Source - http://www.topgear.com/content/news/stories/670/ Radish? metallithrax
Thats what a car should look like. Not like the generic boxes you buy from the showroom nowadays.
Pilsbury
Seems to be missing the Zagato 'Double Bubble' roof. Side / rear window line join with the roof is interestingly small.
zentradi
I cannot begin to estimate how much it would cost to have a Ferrari custom-built like that.
