foxconn287
I never took a formal one but the Trickle test said my IQ was 117. What an interesting number - I'm a big fan of Halo myself.
LG-2
THe IQ tests only work when you're younger. E.g 3rd grade. The IQ tests say, for example, you read at a 5th grade level when your in 3rd grade. THey get messed up as you grow older becuase it doesnt mean anything to be 30 and read at a 43 year old level so it shows your IQ as like 160 when really you're probibly just Average. 100-110. Most people think that there like 140 when really they are only like 103-110 (Its called "Average" for a reason). If i remeber correctly my IQ in 2nd grade was like 110-123 but i cant remeber. My mom was a special ed teacher and she had to do these things all the time and explained how they worked to me and that is how i know. Isn't that a state/school benchmark test? Hankyone
HAHAHAHAHAHA....Can't say I didn't see those coming... This thread is hopeless. If people keep posting off-the-chart numbers, then what's the point of this?! haha lol, actually this thread dropped my IQ

Joni_78
My girlfriend is a psychiatrist and she did WAIS to me and it was 130 something. I think WAIS is not used by Mensa so you can't compare those. Also IQ tests arent used anymore to test IQ because those doesn't test persons real intelligence. Only Menta still keeps the illusion of it. Nowadays IQ test is only used to see if there is any area in the test highly lower than others, if so it could suggest certain problem in the brains. PyX
Yeah, I'm glad to know that there are many geniuses here. All of those who have more than 140 will be able to discover so many new things. Oh, I'm giving one golden star to those who discover new things, that are on neowin, and that have more than 140 in IQ tests. Meanwhile I'll sit in front of my PC, I'll browse Neowin's forums and I'll look at how my IQ is going down. :)
Cole
Last time I took one I was around 135-140. PsykX: IQ is intelligence potential. No one said that intelligence brings ambition. With the extreme intelligences people have, comes the power to use it or not. If you look at charts nowadays, it is a mixed bag. The dumb people are getting dumber and the smart people are getting smarter. Go figure.
Emorex
IQ is not accurate of smart someone really is. If you want to compare 'smartness' you should look at Emotional Intelligence. In the real world (so not school), EQ (Emotional Intelligence) is all that really matters. It doesn't matter how smart you are in the workplace. What really matters is how well you deal with your colleagues and how you learn to read your own and other people's emotions. By the way, there is no standardized test where you can check your EQ level. You just learn to develop it the more you interact with people. I ain't a millionare but I have an income that lets my by what I want when I want it, so guess I'm average. Personaly, I don't believe in IQ / exams / labling people.
