Next month, I plan to get one of them, but I need a choice. Here It is:

Gas Scooter

Price: $530.00 in TOTAL.

* Uses Gas + Oil that is mixed. (Remember, gas costs alot so...)

* Goes 30-34 MPH.

* Illegal on the streets. First warning: Cop will tell you to take your scooter off. 2nd warning) Not sure.

And...

Electric Scooter

Price: Around $230.00-$250.00 in TOTAL.[/b]

* Uses a charger of course.

* Goes ABOUT 15 MPH.

* Illegal on streets.

Which one would you guys get? Im really digging the gas scooter because of the speed, and because It uses gas. For the electric scooter, I dont digg it because It doesnt really make any noise when you go, and Its slow.

Suggestions?

P.S: Does anybody know how to mix GAS + OIL? I have never did it, and would like to know how people do it.

The fact that both are illegal(on the streets) should give you some idea. Are you gonna use them on the streets? If not, why get one?

You just mix them... Put the proper ratio in a separate gas can marked "Gas + Oil" for example, and give it a slight shake to blend them. Then fill up and go! :)

Get the gas, what if your out somewhere, and you're out of battery, what are you going to do? But still even if their illegal, i have one and i always ride it, i know a lot of police here in brooklyn.

When I see/hear these scooters, I laugh. They are usually for chavs only aren't they?

Anyway, gas/oil will probably have more power - and has a higher top speed.

Lol, what a stupid point.

What if your out somewher (middle of no where) and you run out of gas!?

Whats more likly, the closest house has

  1. Electricity
  2. Gas+Oil

I think this topic should be closed anyway, you're talking about riding a bike on the roads (any public road) and its illegal.

Why should It be closed? As long as Im not planning to ride on public streets, Its alright for me to ride around my neighborhood. Btw, are gas scooters not suppose to have lights, and a horn, and how fast your going on it? I know the gas scooter I saw doesnt have lights on it, and the horn, but I didnt see If it shows the speed.

My friend had one of these type scooters, went really fast, gas powered, and he got it legalized for roads. Nice bright headlight, too.

Without a doubt go for gas, electric scooters are so weak and boring.
