what do you mean by "doesnt work with my camera"?

you have a tripod mout havnt you? some screw-thing on the bottom of the cam?

err these things usually are standardized, ive never had problems with any cam plus any tripod.

anyways, go to the shop of your trust and ask them.

sometimes you might need a special "attachment" to the tripod to work with your camera but afaik that was like 20 years ago.

I went to shopes like Curreys, Dixons, PC World to find something we dont really have a studio around that sells them the guy at dions showed me a tripod and he tried attaching the S2 IS (not my but 1 form the shop) it did not work and he scratched it up. Edited by DJ Prem

here we go:

http://www.pixmania.com/de/de/167055/art/h...iv-star-20.html that one is pretty good, hama always is good, and afaik there are changable screws, i asked a friend of mine and sometimes you do need different screws obviously or "release plates", which is the name of these top-things ive learned.

also look at bilora. err i cant find that magazine today, some tripods were tested. if you could wait a bit, im gonna find it for you.
